Butane Bear

Butane Bear is a local multiplayer game where the goal is to burn your opponent with fire! The walking area is made of grass and can be lit on fire and will spread across the battlefield trapping each player. 

Be careful your own fire can burn you! 

Wind direction can also be changed by accessing the wirlibird in the bottom of the screen and change the direction the fire spreads for a brief period of time.

TWO LOCAL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO PLAY THIS GAME

We unfortunately did not have the time to figure out how network multiplayer worked.

 Joystick/WASD - Movement

Xbox "A"/E - Select

Xbox"X"/Space - light fire

hearts are located in the corner of each players UI. 

All art, music, animations, sound effect, and assets are completely original and made for the sole purpose of the pirate software game jam 2024. 

Performance is not the best at this time but was our first time ever making a game.
